Hello friends !!
Today I am going to show you usage Photoshop CS6’s Paste special commands.
Adobe Photoshop CS6 provides three types of paste special commands like below:
1. Paste Into
2. Paste In Place
3. Place Outside
These are three Paste commands are shown under the Edit -> Paste Special.
1. Paste Into : –
You can insert a copied or cut selected image into a selection by using Paste Into commands.
Please follow the below steps:-
1. Open the image and Make selction in which you want to insert the copied selection or image.

2. Open another image in new file and copy the image area which you want to insert.

3. Now navigate to first image in which you want to paste this selection.
Choose edit -> Paste Special -> Paste Into.
Like below screenshot :

For paste this selection you can use this shortcut – Alt + Ctrl + Shift+ V

You can set the paste selection by Transform tool Ctrl + T
.
That’s it.
2. Paste in Place : –
You can paste the selected copy or image in same place in that same image or in another image.
You can use this shortcut for Paste In Place – Shift + Ctrl + V
.
3. Paste Outside :-
Paste Outside is totally opposite from the Paste Into.
The Paste Outside command pastes a copied selection outside another selection, rather than inside.
You can use this shortcut for Paste Outside – Ctrl + V
.
